Where, oh where, is it going??

So, my hair has been falling out for about a month now. Gobs and gobs of it at a time. It's not a big deal except that I'll have to stock up on drain-o for the shower and I have to clean my bathroom floor daily...okay the three days I do something other than pull it back. I've always had thick hair so the prospect of being able to blow-dry it in under 15 minutes sounds appealing.
I'm not the only one losing hair though. (no not Brian...he kissed his good-bye awhile ago. If he had any left before Avery it would surely be gone by now.)
Our little lady, born with more hair than a spider monkey, is shedding like crazy! It's really sad. At first it was okay because it was getting long enough to cover the balding spots...but it's getting worse with patches of long hair and patches of no hair! Poor girl.

Before bath time, I had a little fun with the hair that's left and gave her some big Texas hair.

Look at this sad bald head...you could drive a hot wheels on it!

Here's a nice little comb-over action to cover at least one side of the hairless patch...it makes the other bald side look like the part in her hair. I don't really know what else to do with it. Her hair's too fine for clips and headbands get swallowed up in the fluff on top.

Just recording another day of tired eyes. Poor thing. I need to go out and pick up a copy of Babywise, I know. I've read The Happiest Baby on the Block and that helped us through the newborn phase, she was sleeping 7 hours a night sometimes and always at least 5 at a time. After her blasted shots, we haven't been able to get her back! I'm half-way through The No-Cry Sleep Solution but it sounds like a long process. I nearly always fall asleep reading it, so I have to re-read the same thing 50 times. Ugh! Can I hire someone for a week to sleep train Avery?? Am I naive in thinking it should only take a week?

My only solice is knowing that our neighbors are having twins in a month. I feel for them...If they can deal with two...I can handle one.
