I'M FINALLY PREGNANT!!!
We couldn't be more excited! I'm 13 weeks and counting down the MINUTES until I no longer have to be within running distance to a bathroom...actually, I keep a plastic bag in my purse just in case...PRAYING I never have to use it. This "morning sickness" garbage is really the pits! I did not anticipate it being quite so miserable. The only thing keeping me going is knowing that it means I've got a healthy little parasite inside.
I literally google "morning sickness cures" every other day hoping I'll find some miracle cure I didn't read about the day before. The best fix I've found...peppermint lifesavers and oranges. Not together of course..eww.
Anyway, my mom's dying for me to share the happy news, so there you have it. I keep telling her my tragic tales and she says, "That's so funny, you have to blog about that!!" Thanks Mom. So remind me to tell you about the 'pregnant dropsies' I've developed. Maybe tomorrow...I need to eat something before I lose it for the 50 billionth time!
OK we both look bad in this picture, but I had to post it for our new posterity. I was super tired and nauseous and Brian was squatting awkwardly around the doctors' instruments.
Our little parasite at 9 weeks. It measured 2.2 cm...crazy! So far everything looks great...except I think I need a new nickname for the thing..."Parasite" might give the baby a complex before the world even gets to it...then I thought about "homie" so every time I toss my cookies I could say, "Homie don't play that!"...any better suggestions?

Man, I was so excited when you started blogging again because Jess stopped then you had a hault but now both of you are up and running again:) Yipee! and a double yipee for the baby news that is soooo exciting!!

I like "goober" for your 9 month compadre. "Goober" is the boy name, of course. If it turns out to be a girl you should call her..."Jasmine."
AAAHHH!!! Wow, that was unexpected for a post out of the blue! I actually screamed when I read it I was so excited for you guys! Hooray and happy, happy, happy news. Ryan wanted to name one of our kids Righteous. I'll let you borrow it. Actually, please, just take it. Hooray! I'm still smiling!
