Saturday Soccer

Avery and I went to see her cousin play some soccer today. It was freeeezing, but the game was fun and actually had some intense moments for a bunch of 6-year-olds. Avery wanted in on the action, but we convinced her to collect all the balls. It was pretty funny.




She was a pretty good cheerleader as well. Thanks for the fun!

Puppets

Avery has a Goldilocks and the Three Bears little book with finger puppets and she loves to dig them out of the pocket and have us put them on her fingers. Then she dances around until they all drop off and we do it over again. And again...and again.

Our new Friday.

With Brian's job, he gets every other Friday off now, so our weekend gets to start early! It's so much fun!

I made him change the smoke detector in the stair well tonight. Does that look safe or what? How do you do it?



Avery had a little cuddle time with her monkey on the couch tonight...oh, and her momma. I love this girl.

Lunch!

Avery and I met up with Brian and his brother and Nanny and Grandpa for lunch today. It was pretty fun and a nice change in the day. Avery was in heaven with all the attention. Oh, and a cookie. Definitely my daughter.

November...

Already? I'm having a hard time believing it's November with our lovely weather. We enjoyed the park today. This girl could go down the slide all day. She's getting pretty adventurous lately and wandered out to the storm drain. Apparently there's cool stuff in there.

The first of many candy pile pictures. One day I'll dig my old pictures out. It's a Hodnett tradition to dump out your candy and spend the next hour sorting, sampling, counting, and trading. I may have taken advantage of my 4 year old nephew for a couple Reese's. Sorry buddy. I'll make it up to you.

Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch...err...patches. We had a pretty good time. Avery loved every second of it, and we enjoyed the weather. Here's some pictures from the day.
